We are our nervous system.
Have you ever noticed how our moods or states can be affected by a particular sound, smell or even another experience. This is because we anchor our experiences in different ways. Our bodies can be primed to bring out a specific emotion when presented with certain triggers. The good news here is we can prime our triggers for peak condition, which brings about peak state which brings about peak performance, by consciously creating our anchors, through the concept of neuroplasticity. The brain has a unique ability to reorganise itself by forming new neural connections throughout life. When we โmyelinateโ the pathways or continuously think a certain way the conduction of messages becomes faster and faster. So, notice what makes you happy and anchor these experiences with a physical action (eg. pinching your wrist). When your mood dips or you face a challenge, you can fire off this anchor by pinching your wrist and change states to happiness.
